Paralelos y meridianos. Parallels and Meridians explanation. Social Science. 4ºEP
This is an explanation of parallels and meridians to understand the geographical lines we have on the Earth.

Project 1. Social SC. 4EP
We are going to create a board game similar to one you have already played before. This game has the same structure than Battleship (hundir la flota).
We need cardboard, any decorations to glue, it can be stickers, markers (to decorate de pins), glue, we can need some cello paper to join papers or the cardboard.
We will start the project at school.
Here are some examples to do your project.
RULES:
The players must know where the oponent has been travelling. Each personal locations are placed on the board below. The vertical board, or map, is used to guess our oponent locations.
The game consist of having turns saying geographic coordinates until we guess where our opponent has travelled.
Questions: Have you been in the geographic coordinates…………..?
Each turn has two geographic coordinates they can say. If they don’t guess and the oponent wasn’t on this point they must place a regular pin without color. If they guess and they know one of the 10 possible places the opponent gets a point.
The rules can be complex but they idea is to do 10 turns and the winner will be the one guessing more locations from his/her opponent
Depending on the color of the pin we will play with them. The idea is similar to “battleship game”
BLACK: My different trips. For these positions you have to place 10 differnt black pins on the map below.
PLAIN PINS: These will be used whenever the position is water or we don’t guess any visited place from our opponent.
RED PINS: These pins will be used to record o score places our opponent has.
Having different rounds between them it’s very easy to play but to be more accurate they placed their posistions by squares or quarters. First in Latitud North-East, later Latitud North-West… it’s easier for them.
